Auditions Weekend of April 17th

Orlando Ballet is accepting video submissions for their 2026 Summer Intensive until 4/17.

- Please provide an audition video that is 5-7 minutes in length

- Clearly state your name and age at the beginning of the video

- Please wear the following when recording your audition:

          - Option 1: black or solid colored leotard, pink ballet tights, pink ballet slippers and pointe shoes. Hair should be in proper ballet bun

          - Option 2: white dance t-shirt, black ballet tights, and black ballet slippers

- Video fee: $45

Northern Ballet has an audition for their MA in Classical Ballet Performance on 4/17.

- The MA Classical Ballet Performance is designed specifically for classical performers to refine their artistry at the highest level and prepare for the rigorous demands of professional Company life.

- With unique opportunities to train and perform alongside the Company of Northern Ballet, the course offers emerging dancers personal and professional development as artists, equipping them with confidence, discipline, and professional readiness to excel within the current landscape of professional ballet.

- The In-Person audition will be held at Northern Ballet where you will participate in a ballet class and learn a section of repertoire.

Milwaukee Ballet has an audition for their 5-Week Pre-Professional Program on 4/17.

- Milwaukee Ballet School & Academy offers Experience Days each spring for prospective students to immerse themselves in the Pre-Professional Program.

- Attending one or both Experience Days qualifies as your audition for the program.

- 2026 Dates & Location

          - April 16 & 17, 2026 (Attend one or both days)

          - Baumgartner Center for Dance, 128 N. Jackson St, Milwaukee

- Dress Code

          - Any style black leotard with pink tights and shoes or skin-tone tights and shoes; or a fitted, white T-shirt with black tights and shoes. 

          - Optionally, students should bring a short chiffon or Georgette wrap skirt (Repertoire), jazz shoes, and clean layers for style classes if preferred (leggings, etc).

Ballet de Monterrey has an audition for Company Dancers for the 26/27 Season on 4/18.

- $25.00 audition fee

- Upon completing the registration and making the payment, the dancer is officially registered for the general auditions of the Ballet de Monterrey.

- Age requirement : 18+

- Attire:

          - Women : Black leotard, pink tights, soft ballet shoes, and pointe shoes.

          - Men : Full tights (any color), white shoes with white socks.

- Possible hearing outcomes

          - Entry into the Company (contract or apprentice) - Possibility of joining the cast of the Ballet de Monterrey, participating in productions, rehearsals and artistic activities within a professional structure.

          - Studio Company Entry - Access to an advanced training program that offers technical refinement, stage experience, work with the company and support in the transition to the professional world.

Dallas Conservatory has an audition for their 2026 International Summer Dance Intensive on 4/18.

- These auditions are required for acceptance to International Summer Dance Intensive, Beginning through Advanced levels (June 1-19 and July 20-August 7, 2026) 

- Seven levels total.

          - 6:00-6:45 PM | Ages 8-11

          - 6:45-8:00 PM | Ages 12-18
