Hi! I'm Miriam Landis, the author of the middle-grade novel Lauren in the Limelight and two young adult novels, Girl in Motion and Girl on Pointe. As a faculty member at the Pacific Northwest Ballet School and a former professional ballerina with Miami City Ballet, I bring my passion for ballet into my writing. When I'm not teaching or writing, I enjoy life in the Seattle area with my husband and four children.
For fans of the classic novel Ballet Shoes, Lauren in the Limelight is a coming-of-age dance story reimagined for a new generation.
