Auditions Weekend of February 27th



Tulsa Ballet has an audition for Company, Second Company and Trainees for the 2026-2027 Season on 2/27.

- Mr. Angelini will be considering male and female dancers with strong classical technique to fill positions with Tulsa Ballet’s Professional Company, TBII Company, and the Trainee Program with 40-week AGMA contracts.

- Auditions by invitation only.

- An applicant is required to submit the following material only: 

          - Video with no introduction or fancy editing, consisting of the following performed in leotard and tights for women, and tight-fitting dance attire for men:

                    - Two classical variations drawn from the standard repertoire, danced in pointe shoes by female applicants

                    - A short contemporary variation (that could consist of something drawn from the repertoire, phrases from classwork, or an applicant-created work) that illustrates the applicant’s command of a range of movement different from that demonstrated in the classical variation

                    - 3-5 minutes of barre work, incorporating both sides, danced in soft shoes by male applicants and pointe shoes by female applicants

                    - 3-5 minutes of center work that includes adagio, pirouettes, petit and grand allegro, danced in pointe shoes by female applicants

          - CV (must include weight & height)

          - Head shot

          - 2-3 dance photos that reveal the dancer’s body proportions and line

Boston Ballet is accepting video submissions for their 2026 Summer Dance Program until 2/28.

- The registration fee for a pre-recorded video submission is $60.

- Video submissions should not exceed 15 mins in length

- Suggested attire:

          - Women - black leotard, slippers and tights in the color closest to their natural skin tone or in which they feel most comfortable

          - Men - black tights and white t-shirt

- Do not film into the mirror

- The entire dancer should be visible throughout the video (no close-ups)

- Be sure that the lighting is conducive to be seen well by the faculty adjudicators

Collage Dance Collective is accepting video auditions for Company Dancers for the 2026-2027 Season until 2/28.

- Collage Dance is seeking male and female dancers with a strong classical and contemporary ballet foundation for the company’s 2026-27 season. 

- The company offers competitive salaries, benefits, touring and 32+ week contracts.

- To be considered for a position in Collage Dance Collective, you are encouraged to submit your materials online or attend the upcoming in-person audition.

-mVideo guidelines:

          - Applicants, please submit a link to your video, 25 minutes maximum, that includes the following: 

          - Ballet Barre (one side): Tendu, Rond de Jambe, Adagio, Grand Battement 

          - Center: Adagio, Pirouettes, Petit Allegro, Grands Allegro, Fouettés (Ladies), Pirouette in Second (Men) 

          - Classical and Contemporary variations. 

          - Ladies: Please have your hair in a bun and wear skin-tone matching tights and shoes. No pink tights and no warm-ups, please.

Nevada Ballet Theatre has an audition for Company and Second Company Dancers on 2/28.

- Bring the following items with you to the auditions:

          - A CV

          - A headshot

          - 2-3 dance photos that reveal the dancer’s body proportions and line

- Please Note: Dancers who are offered a contract must provide proof of US Citizenship or valid documentation to legally work within the United States for the length of the contract.

Louisville Ballet has an audition for Company and Studio Company Dancers for the 26/27 Season on 3/1.

          - Louisville Ballet Studios, 315 E. Main St., Louisville, Kentucky, 40202

- Tentative Audition Schedule*

          - 11:00 a.m. – Registration**

          - 12:30 p.m. – Class 1

          - 2:30 p.m. – Class 2

          - 4:30 p.m. – Callbacks from classes 1 and 2, which will include a contemporary portion.

          - *Check back soon for the final schedule

          - **Dancers must arrive for registration at 11 a.m. to receive their class assignments.

- Dancers must arrive prepared with the following:

          - Recent headshot, dance photo, and current resumé

          - Pointe shoes (women)

          - Personal ID

          - $25 audition fee (Check made out to Louisville Ballet is preferred. Venmo payment will be available on the day of the audition.)
