1. Auditions

The Auditions section is your go-to for finding all upcoming auditions and researching companies. It’s perfect if you’re sending out video submissions or attending audition tours near you.

Key Features:

• Search Filters: Refine by location, dates, audition type (summer, year-round, post-grad), in-person vs. video, and more.
• Pro Tip: Select multiple audition types to find combined opportunities (e.g., auditions for both summer and year-round programs).
• Rolling Auditions: These don’t have specific due dates, so they’re ideal for flexible submissions.
• Favorite and Hide Options: Bookmark auditions for easy access or hide the ones you’re not interested in.

2. Programs

If you’re researching training opportunities, this section is for you. It includes a comprehensive database of summer intensives, year-round programs, post-high school options, collegiate programs, and adaptive dance.

For programs & jobs searches, it is important to note that not all of these programs have upcoming auditions, or even require auditions.  This is purely for research of what they offer.  You can use  “upcoming auditions” to find programs that have just that!

• Customize Your Search: Use filters like location, tuition, duration, styles, scholarships, and performance opportunities to tailor your search.
• Upcoming Auditions Filter: Narrow your results to programs actively holding auditions.
• Pro Tip: Build your perfect summer by combining programs based on your training goals and schedule.  Use the weeks & dates filters for this.

The Jobs section is a database of employment opportunities for dancers. It’s divided into three categories:

• Full-Time: Seasonal contracts with companies.
• Gig Work: Includes summer projects, resident advisor roles, Nutcrackers, and pop-up companies.
• Teaching: Positions in dance schools and studios.

Key Features:

• Upcoming Auditions Filter: Identify jobs with auditions currently open.
• Company Research: Search for companies that fit your style and career goals.
• Pro Tip: While we’re working to add pay, week count, company size, and height information, these details can be tricky to collect. Use other filters to narrow your search while this database continues to grow.

4. Organizations

This section is designed for dancers who know exactly which company they want to research. Search by name to find detailed information about a specific organization.
