Auditions Weekend of January 23rd

 

 

Miami City Ballet is accepting video auditions for Company Dancers for the 26/27 Season until 1/23.

- Miami City Ballet is seeking exceptional dancers with a strong classical foundation for all company positions for the 2026/27 Season.

- Also warmly welcome first-time professionals and advanced dancers who may not yet have professional experience but demonstrate strong potential, artistry, and commitment.

- Qualifications:

          - Strong classical technique with refined musicality

          - Experience with Robbins works

          - Experience with the Balanchine repertory

          - Pointe proficiency required for women

          - Partnering experience required for men

          - Eligibility to work in the United States (unless otherwise noted)

          - If a visa is required, applicants must specify the status of their current visa or indicate the need for visa sponsorship

- Video submissions will be accepted, but any application with video links that do not work may result in the disqualification of your application.

Indianapolis Ballet has an audition for their 2026 Summer Intensive on 1/24.

- Students must be 10 years of age by June 1, 2026.

- Saturday, January 24, 2026 | 1804 22nd St, Columbus, IN 47201

- Ages 10-13:

          - Registration: 11-11:30am

          - Audition: 11:30am-1pm

- Ages 14 & up:

          - Registration: 1-1:30pm

          - Audition: 1:30-3pm

- Please being two photos - a headshot (may be a school photo) and a full-length dance photo in first arabesque.

- Ladies must bring pointe shoes

New Jersey Ballet has a live virtual audition for their 2026 Summer Intensive on 1/24.

- All students will be considered for the Summer Intensive Program based on age and technical eligibility during the audition.​

- Pre-registration is only available at Audition Registration 

- Girls 12 to 20 are expected to have previous ballet training and should wear a leotard (any style and color), tights, and ballet shoes. 

          - Hair must be pulled off the face, in a bun.

          - Dancers should bring pointe shoes, if en pointe.

- Boys 12 to 20 are expected to have previous ballet training and should wear a white shirt, black tights, and ballet shoes.

- All applicants must submit two photos on the application form: one in tendu à la seconde and one in relevé first arabesque. Photos do not have to be professionally taken and should be taken in practice clothes. 

- You must register with the age group you are on the day of the audition and audition according to the age you are on the day of the audition.

- Students can expect to take a one hour-and-a-half (1hr 30min) ballet class with a 30-minute check-in process.

- All students will receive email notification of the results within 7 days after their audition.

- Admitted students will be provided with instructions for registration to the Summer Intensive Program. 

- After you complete a pre-registration for a particular audition class or video registration, and your plans change, you may switch audition locations and/or between an in-person and video audition. To make this switch please contact us at [email protected]



Ballet Arizona has an audition for Company Dancers for the 2026/2027 Season on 1/24.

- On the day of the open audition, Ballet Arizona requires a resume, headshot, and two (2) full body photos.

- Please fill out a registration form in advance and bring it with you when you audition. No pre-registration is required.

- CV: Include all performing experience with a professional ballet company, training, height, awards received, visa status, etc.

- Photos: Headshot and 2-3 dance photos that reveal body proportions and line.

- Date: Saturday, January 24, 2026

- Location: New York City Center Studios. 130 West 56th Street (Between 6th & 7th Ave.) Studio 5

- Time: 

          - Registration begins at 6:00pm

          - Ballet Class at 6:30pm – 8:00pm

          - Contemporary Improvisation 8:00pm – 9:00pm

- Fee: $25 registration fee at audition (cash only)

 - Dancers accepted into the Company must have the right to live and work within the United States.

Grand Rapids Ballet has an audition for their 2026 Summer Intensive on 1/25.

- Ladies ages 15+ auditioning for the Ballet Intensive should plan to wear pointe shoes for the full class, if possible.

- Ladies ages 12–14 auditioning for the Ballet Intensive will be asked to wear pointe shoes for center work only.

- Please bring a physical copy (4×6 or 5×7 size is preferred) of the following to your Master Class Audition:

          - Full body photo in first arabesque (en pointe if applicable)

          - A headshot photograph

- Registration for a Master Class Audition requires payment of a non-refundable $35 fee. 

- Registration will also be available in-person on the day of your class beginning 30 minutes prior to the start time; exact cash or check only for in-person registration.

- Registration 1 p.m. | Class 1:30-3 p.m.
