Auditions Weekend of January 30th

Sarasota Ballet has an audition for their 2026 Summer Intensive on 1/31.

- Summer intensive is designed for dancers ages 12-21

- At least one year of pointe work (center included) is required for female applicants 

- Register by January 29, 2026

- Students are required to submit a headshot and first arabesque photo in registration form

Hubbard Street is accepting video submissions for their 2026-2027 Company Dancers audition until 1/31.

- All are welcome to submit video for consideration to participate in the in-person audition to be held in Chicago, IL, March 13-15, 2026.

- Please submit the following requirements via email to [email protected]:

          - Resume/CV (attachment acceptable)

          - Headshot/Bio (attachment acceptable)

          - One video link not to exceed 4-minutes including the following sections:

                    - Ballet technique (center work only)

                              - Please submit material that reflects an understanding of contemporary repertoire. Pointe only footage will not provide an accurate reflection of your versatility as it relates to the company.

                    - Solo improvisation

                    - Performance

                    - NOTE: Your video must be submitted via link, (i.e. Vimeo, YouTube, Google Drive). If your video is sent as an email attachment, the submission will not be accepted.

                    - Video Submission Deadline: January 31, 2026, 6pm CST

- If accepted to the next stage of the audition, you will receive an email from Hubbard Street Dance Chicago no later than February 13, 2026.

Aterballetto is accepting video submissions for their Company Dancer audition until 1/31.

- The Centro Coreografico Nazionale / Aterballetto opens its doors to meet new female and male dancers with the following requirements:

          - Excellent classical ballet technique

          - Highly accomplished contemporary dance skills

          - At least 3 years of experience in professional companies

- Audition by invitation only

- Dates and times will be communicated after the CV selection process, curated by Company Director Sveva Berti

- Application deadline: January 31, 2026

The Hartt School (University of Hartford) has an audition for their 2026 Summer Dance Intensive (SDI) on 1/31.

- Designed for dancers ages 8-22 who are ready to challenge themselves, refine their technique and grow as artists

- Program dates:

          - July 20-August 15, 2026

                    - Morning Program: Monday-Friday, 9am-1pm

                    - Afternoon Program: Monday-Friday, 12pm-6pm

- Audition Dates:

          - Class 1 - 8-10yrs old: 12:30-1:45pm

          - Class 2 - 11-13yrs old: 2-3pm Ballet, 3-3:30pm Pointe (optional)

          - Class 3 - 14-21yrs old: 3:45-5:15pm Ballet, 5:15-5:45 Pointe (optional)

- Registration for each audition will begin 30 minutes before the beginning of each class. 

- Non HCD Dance students, please be prepared with a head shot and a dance photo (i.e. first arabesque or tendu à la seconde) printed out

Jacob’s Pillow is accepting video submissions for 2026 Summer Interns until 2/2.

- 2026 Internships run from May 26 through September 4th and are part of a structured program decades in the making.

- Internships offer training and mentorship towards professional career.

- As an intern, you will work alongside seasoned arts professionals and assist with multiple programs pertaining to the Festival, The School and Archives and Community Engagement.
