Auditions Weekend of January 9th

Next Generation Ballet has an audition for their 2026 Summer Intensive on 1/9.

- Audition fees are $40 for all in person auditions. 

- Registration will be 30 minutes followed by a 90-minute ballet class.

- Dancers must be at least 11 years old and ladies must have at least 1 year of pointe experience by the start of the intensive to audition. 

- Dancers must be at least 12 years of age to utilize the dormitory option.

- Photo Requirements:

          - Headshot of the auditioning dancer

          - Photo of the auditioning dancer in first arabesque

- All documents and photos can be easily uploaded to your Patel Account - the same account in which you completed your audition registration. 

- Audition time: 7:30-9:00PM

Texas Ballet Theater (TBT) has an audition for Company Dancers on 1/10.

- Audition will be held at Ballet West

- Company and Studio Company audition

- Time: 6:30-8:00pm

- $25 audition fee

- When completing the audition application, you will need to provide a resume, headshot, and photo in first arabesque. 

          - Only applications submitted through the online form will be reviewed.

American Midwest Ballet has an audition for their 2026 Summer Intensive on 1/10.

- The American Midwest Ballet Summer Intensive offers three intensive weeks of ballet, pointe, variations, jazz, modern, contemporary, and repertory for dancers ages 11-25.

- Summer Intensive participants immerse themselves in dance six days per week. 

- They are guided by a faculty consisting of stellar guest instructors and company artists of American Midwest Ballet. 

- On the final day, full program Summer Intensive and Junior Intensive students showcase what they’ve learned in a performance in the Hoff Center’s fully-equipped theater.

- There is also a one-week option and a Junior Intensive option for dancers. 

- Audition will be held at Hoff Family ARts & Culture Center in Council Bluffs, IA.

Alabama Ballet has an audition for Company Dancers on 1/11.

- Auditions are by invitation only.

- To be considered, please submit the following to [email protected]

          - Resume

          - Headshot

          - First arabesque

          - Video consisting of:

                    - Class work

                    - At least one classical variation

                    - Contemporary footage or performance excerpts that may consist of something drawn from repertoire, classwork phrases or an applicant’s own created work

          - Upon reviewing submitted videos, Alabama Ballet’s Artistic Team may invite artists to an audition. Some applicants may be asked to attend a Company Class.

Charlotte Ballet is accepting video auditions for Company Dancers for the 2026-2027 Season until 1/11.

- Charlotte Ballet’s Artistic Team is currently seeking dancers with strong contemporary and classical technique to fill positions with Charlotte Ballet I and Charlotte Ballet II for the 2026/2027 Season.

- Auditions are by invitation only.

          - Updated headshot and resume

          - Separate video excerpts highlighting:

                    - Contemporary repertoire

                    - Improvisation

                    - A classical variation (on pointe, if applicable)
