- Requirements and notes:
- Dancers must be eligible to work for a US-based employer
- The company is based in and rehearses in Washington, CT.
- Must be willing and capable of traveling domestically and internationally for performances
- Contract: Typically 36-week employment contract. Start dates based on position offered and dancer availability.
- FIRST ROUND VIDEO AUDITIONS: Submission deadline: Feb 23, 2026
- Step 1. Review and learn this short movement phrase.
- Step 2. Record one video that includes: you dancing this phrase AND 30 seconds of unedited improvisation AND 3 silly walks. State and spell your full name at the beginning of the video. (We are not looking at production value, please use any means of recording in any location.)
- Step 3. Upload your video to Vimeo or YouTube. Create a sharable link to include on your application form.
- Step 4. Complete the application form. You must include your headshot, resume/CV, and video link.

- Dancers invited to return for the second round audition will be informed on March 2, 2026, if they have been selected.

- Students can expect to hear back within seven days of the audition date about acceptance into the program.
- Audition Class Structure:
- The audition class spans two hours and consists of a 1.5-hour ballet class followed by 20 minutes of pointe work.
- Even if you are not on pointe, you are invited to participate in this section using flat shoes.
- Alternative Genre:
- We recognize that ballet might not be the primary discipline for all dancers.
- Therefore, we encourage students with expertise in other dance genres to showcase their skills as well.
- You can bring in prepared work in another genre, with a presentation time limit of no longer than 2.5 minutes to perform once you have concluded the ballet portion of the audition.
