Auditions Weekend of May 15th

Exhale Dance Company has an audition for Company Dancers for the 26/27 Season on 5/15.

- All are welcome to submit a video for consideration to participate in the in-person audition to be held in Washington, D.C., May 15-16 2026.

- Please submit the following requirements via email to [email protected]

          - Resume/CV (attachment acceptable)

          - Headshot/Bio (attachment acceptable)

          - One video link not to exceed 4-minutes including the following sections:

          - Ballet technique (No Pointe work)

          - Contemporary/Modern work

          - Solo improvisation

- NOTE: Your video must be submitted via link, (i.e. YouTube, Google Drive). If your video is sent as an email attachment, the submission will not be accepted. 

          - Video Submission Deadline: March 31, 2026 at 11:59pm EST

- If selected to participate in the live Washington, D.C. audition, please reserve the weekend of May 15-16, 2026.

- In-person auditions will take place in Washington, D.C. (Exact address will be provided)

- Plan on a 4-hour commitment consisting of a ballet barre, center work, contemporary & modern class and interviews.

- Cuts will be made following class.

- Be prepared with ballet shoes, socks, knee pads and water bottle.

Ellison Ballet is accepting submissions for their 2026 Premier Coaching Intensive (LA) until 5/15.

- How to audition by video:

          - Film your video according to the Video Submission Guidelines on this page.

          - Upload your video to a site such as YouTube, Vimeo, DropBox, or Google Drive.

          - Register your audition online at the link below and pay audition fee. 

          - Be sure to include your online video link with your registration. Do not submit the registration form without the video link.

Novus Contemporary Ballet is accepting audition submissions for their Trainee Program until 5/15.

          - Company Artists and Apprentices (paid, project-to-seasonal contracts)

          - Trainees (tuition-based or scholarship/assistantship options)

          - Guest Artists for specific projects

          - Teaching/Outreach–interested dancers for our education work

          - Visit DanceApply to submit your materials including a video, resume, and headshot.

          - Materials are due no later than May 1st

Ardent Dance Company has an audition for Dancers for Summer 2026 and 2026-2027 Season on 5/17.
