- An open call for choreographers is now live
- We invite established and emerging choreographers to submit finished works (5–20 minutes) in solo, duet, trio, or small group formats (up to four dancers).
- Selected artists will present their work as part of the festival program and engage with the local community through workshops and post-performance conversations.
- Pieces should be created for the stage, we are not accepting films at this time.
- Choreographers receive a stipend of $1,000 – $4,000, depending on the scale of the work, to support artist pay and travel. Housing will be provided.
- Applicants will be asked to submit:
- Artist biography
- Brief description of the proposed work
- Video documentation of full work

- Creative inquiry as a generative force for original work
- Repertory that reveals the inner mechanics of GALLIM’s choreographic language
- A collaborative exchange with special guest artists Baye & Asa
- The experience culminates in an Open Studio Showing on July 2, a moment to share process, presence, and evolution, captured through professional photo and video documentation.
