Transform Your Technique in Milwaukee This Summer

6-Week Pre-Professional Summer Intensive Program

A concentrated, comprehensive course for serious pre-professionals aged 11-22 who have attained an intermediate to advanced level of ballet technique.

Ladies must have a minimum of one full year of intensive pointe training and boys in the equivalent level. Daily classes in ballet, pointe, and men’s work. Dynamic style classes. Rehearsal of original choreography.

JUNE 15 – JULY 26, 2024

💫Based at our Baumgartner Center for Dance studio location in downtown Milwaukee (128 N Jackson St). Subject to change.

💫Challenging daily classes including Ballet, Pointe, Men’s Work, and Variations.

💫Dynamic style classes including Flamenco, Modern, African, Musical Theater, and Hip Hop.

💫Daily rehearsals for Emergence, a showcase performance with original choreography by faculty and guest teachers.

💫High school students and recent graduates are eligible to audition for the Rolando Yanes’ Pre-Professional Program, a year-round day training program.

💫High school graduates placed into Tech 8 are eligible to audition for the upcoming season of the prestigious Milwaukee Ballet II Program. More than 40% of the dancers in Milwaukee Ballet Company completed the Milwaukee Ballet II Program!

💫Students attend from more than 20 states and five countries.

3-Week Intermediate Program

A comprehensive course for intermediate students age 11-14.

Ladies must have started pointe work at the start of the current school year and boys in the equivalent level of study. The program consists of daily technique, pointe, and style class (character, jazz or modern). Classes are followed by a full rehearsal schedule each afternoon.

JULY 6 – 26, 2024

💫Based at our Riverpoint Village studio location in Fox Point, WI and at our Towne Centre studio location in Brookfield, WI.  Subject to change.

💫Daily rehearsals for Emergence, a showcase performance with original choreography by faculty and guest teachers.

💫Students attending from more than 20 states and five countries

Audition

Advanced registration is $40 per student and is recommended for all auditions as space is limited. Pre-registration for each audition closes at midnight of the Monday prior.
Day-of audition walk-in registrations are $45 and will be accepted on a first come, first served basis as space remains available.

Your audition determines acceptance into the Intermediate 3-week or Pre-Professional 6-week Summer Intensive program.  Audition results are emailed within 10 days of your audition.
