Are you ready to take your dance skills to the next level? Cary Ballet invites dedicated, hard-working dancers to audition for its renowned Summer Intensive Program—an opportunity to focus, work hard, and experience remarkable growth in your artistry and technique.

Located in North Carolina, Cary Ballet is a distinguished dance school celebrated for its exceptional training and results. Many of its dancers have achieved top placements at prestigious competitions such as YAGP, Prix de Lausanne, and ADC | IBC. Cary Ballet alumni are also performing with professional companies around the world, a testament to the school’s world-class instruction.

What Makes Cary Ballet’s Summer Intensive Stand Out?

This program is crafted for dancers seeking a transformative experience. Participants will attend daily extended classes focusing on:

          -Ballet Technique

          -Pointe Work

          -Variations

In addition, dancers will expand their versatility through training in jazz, modern, character, and contemporary dance styles. The program also offers specialized classes in Pilates, Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT), and therapeutic conditioning to enhance strength, flexibility, turnout, and extension. This holistic approach ensures students leave the intensive as stronger, more refined artists.

Program Options and Dates

Dancers can customize their summer training experience with multiple session options:

          -Session A: June 23 - July 05 (2 weeks)

          -Session B: July 07 - July 26 (3 weeks)

          -Session C: June 23 - July 26 (5 weeks)

          -Session PC: July 28 - August 02 (1 week - Prix Challenge Week)

          -Session D: June 23 - August 02 (6 weeks)

How to Join

Admission to the Summer Intensive is by audition only, ensuring a high level of commitment and talent among participants. Upcoming in-person audition dates include:

          -January 18: Cary, NC

          -January 19: Beckley, WV

          -January 26: Herndon, VA

          -February 1: Cary, NC

          -February 2: Richmond, VA

          -February 8: Jacksonville, FL (Highly Recommended)

          -February 22: Cary, NC

          -March 8: Cary, NC
