Butler University has an audition for admittance to the Dance Program on 10/25.

- When applying to the Jordan College of the Arts, students are required to follow the standard application process outlined on the Office of Admission Website.
- In-person auditions are full-day events with activities that will give prospective students a good sense of life as a Butler Dance major.

Slippery Rock University has an audition for admittance to the Dance Program on 10/26.

- Auditions include a combined class of ballet and contemporary dance techniques as well as a tour of campus.

Mosa Ballet School has an audition for their 2025-2026 Main Program and Pre-Professional Program on 10/26.

- The audition day will consist of a classical class, with point exercises for the ladies, followed by a contemporary class and a physical exam.
- Exact timetable and practical information for the test will be communicated to the participants after registration.
- All dancers between 11 and 18 years old who are applying for the Main Program (ages 12-18) and the Pre-Professional Program (ages 18-20).

Brenau University has an audition for their 2025 Summer Dance Intensive on 10/27.

- Brenau Summer Dance Intensive is two weeks of rigorous dance training for dancers ages 15-23 occuring May 31-June 14, 2025.
- The program will focus on Modern, Ballet, Jazz, and Contemporary technique, Ballroom, Variations, Pas de Deux, Yoga, Pilates, Men’s Class, Pointe, West African Dance, Nutrition for Dancers, Acting/Singing, and Repertory.
- During the two weeks, dancers will rehearse repertory and new works by established and emerging local, national, and regional professional dance artists to be performed in a showcase at the John S. Burd Center for the Performing Arts on Brenau’s Historic Campus in Gainesville, Georgia, in the afternoon of Saturday, June 14, 2025.

- The audition is structured to support our learning more about what kind of dancer, artist, creative problem solver and community member you might be.
- This will include three of the following genres: Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Hip Hop, and West African.
- In addition to the technique portion of the audition, be prepared to show a 90-second solo in any dance form. Use this opportunity to show us who you are and how you love to move. You may use music, text, soundtrack, or silence.
