- Please wear the following when recording your audition:
- Option 1: black or other solid colored leotard, pink ballet tights, pink ballet slippers and pointe shoes. Hair should be secured in a proper ballet bun.
- Option 2: white dance t-shirt, black ballet tights, and black ballet slippers
- Please provide an audition video that is 5-7 minutes in length.
- Be sure to clearly state your name and age at the beginning of the video.
- The simple and concise combinations outlined below will help us to accurately assess where you are in your training.
- Once you have recorded your video, please upload the video file to YouTube (make sure the video is marked as “Public” so we can view your audition).
- Please submit your video audition link in the space provided on your online registration form.
- Please allow 10 business days from the date of your audition submission to receive your results.

- Auditions will be held on April 19th from 1:30-3:30pm.
- All students must audition and be placed in the appropriate level before registering.
- After being notified by the School Director, they may choose to register any two or more weeks of the program that offers their placement level.
- Please be sure to bring a headshot and a picture of your child in a FIRST ARABESQUE position. No specific size or quality is needed, just be sure your child is clearly visible in the photo.

- This program is designed to build a supportive network and community, expose students to new and challenging ideas and movement styles, and share preparatory tools for building a sustainable career in the performing arts.
- Open to a maximum of 20 participants per session.

- Ages 8 - 23
- Students do not need to take all 6 weeks
- Priority acceptance is given to those requesting the 6-week program
- A minimum of 3 weeks is required (some exceptions are made by the director)
- Program is led by Slawomir and Irena Wozniak, has a focus on traditional, classical Vagonova technique with classes that include:
- Pointe, male technique, repertoire, ballet, conditioning, partnering/ pas de deux, character, contemporary, jazz and more
- Classes are typical Monday-Friday, 10:00am - 4/5:00 pm
- Housing is offered for students ages 13+

- The School of American Ballet — the official school of New York City Ballet — holds auditions each spring for 6 to 10 year olds who live in the New York metropolitan area.
- Accepted applicants enroll in the upcoming Winter Term which begins in September.
- No previous training or experience is necessary for children in this age group.
- Auditions will take place at the School of American Ballet’s headquarters at Lincoln Center in Manhattan.
- Applicants must sign up for specific time slots starting after 3pm on the audition date that corresponds with their age.
- Pre-registration is required for these auditions.
- Note, there is an audition fee of $38.50 for all auditions at SAB’s headquarters.
- April 22, 2025 audition is for ages 7-8 years old.
