Auditions Weekend of April 4th

Lamondance has an audition for their Contemporary Training Program and Company Dancers for the 2025-2026 Season on 4/5.

- Parking is free

- Audition begins at 3pm 

- Audition form is required for the audition. Dancers will need to submit:

          - Resume

          - Headshot

          - Letter of Recommendation

Festival Ballet Theatre (Southland Ballet) is accepting audition videos for their 2025 International Junior Intensive until 4/5.

- July 28-August 7, 2025 – Fountain Valley Studio

- Two-week program designed for the pre-pointe and beginning pointe ballet student, ages 9 to 12, looking for serious training. 

- The program builds strength for pointe, and prepares the student for advanced movement.

- Curriculum: ballet technique, pre-pointe/beginning pointework, variation, contemporary, jazz and pilates

- Video Audition Guidelines:

          - Class Video Requirements:

                    - Single video file no more than 12 minutes in length.

                    - Please only perform one side of each combination.

                    - No warm ups, leg warmers or skirts.

                    - The video must be taken recently and not more than 3 months prior to submission.

          - Elements:

                    - Barre work to include - alternate dies but one side only of each:

                              - Pliés, Tendus & Dégagés, Ronde de Jambe & Fondu, Grand Battement

                    - Center work to include:

                               - Adagio, Pirouette combination with en dehors and en dedans, Petit allegro - include beats, Grand allegro

                    - Pointe work - three combinations to include:

                               - Échappé, Passé, Sous-sus

                               - Pirouettes, Piqué turns, chaînés, dégagé turns

                               - Arabesque from piqué & temps levé

Vitacca Ballet has an audition for Company Dancers for the 2025-2026 Season on 4/5.

- Vitacca Ballet is seeking professional dance artists with a strong classical foundation, advanced creation skills, and a desire for a collaborative workspace.  

- Dancers may apply by Video Submission for April 5 audition invitation, or solely attend April 5 open call in-person audition in Houston, TX. 

- All dancers are required to be seen in person for consideration.

- Check-in at 2:30

- Audition at 3:00pm-5:00pm

- Includes: Classical barre, center work on flat and en pointe, Vitacca Ballet repertoire and improvisation

- Time: 3:00pm-5:00pm

- Video Submission for audition invitations are due March 1st, however this is not required to attend the open call audition.

San Francisco Ballet (SFB) is accepting audition videos for their School Year Program until 4/6.

- To be considered for admittance into the upper levels for the 25/26 School Year ($50 audition fee):

- The upper levels of the school are Levels 6, 7, 8 & Trainee.

- Applicants must be between the ages of 14-18 by September 1, 2025.

- November 1, 2024 – April 6, 2025: Pre-Selection video applications are open.

- Students will be notified of their pre-selection video audition results within 2 weeks of their pre-selection video submission.

- Pre-selected students will be invited to participate in a 2-hour live audition. Students can select which live audition they attend if they are invited to attend after the pre-selection process.

- A $50 audition fee will be charged upon submission. Please note, SF Ballet School will only accept electronic online submissions through the video application website, Slideroom, and will not review DVDs or email submissions that are sent to the School.

Ekklesia Contemporary Ballet has an audition for Company Dancers for the 2025-2026 Season on 4/8.

- Ekklesia is seeking strong, professional-level male and female dancers for the 2025-2026 season.  

- Dancers must have a U.S. Passport and be legally authorized to work in the United States. All rehearsals will take place in Middletown, CT. 

- Studio auditions will consist of company class from 10:45 - 12:15pm followed by an observation of company rehearsal. 

- Dancers may be asked to an interview after class with the Artistic Director.

- Register for your audition: Email resume, headshot and video footage (5-8 min) to [email protected]

- Dancers should bring a hard copy of their headshot and resume to the audition.
