Auditions Weekend of January 17th!

Intensive is held from June 23-July 26
Intensive is specially designed to holistically develop every student’s technique alongside artistry.
The core curriculum includes classical and modern technique, variations, repertoire, pas de deux (for older students) and supplementary classes in jazz, mime and Latin dance. Cross-training is also offered with Progressing Ballet Technique, Pilates and yoga.

Seeking athletic, modern dancers with strong technique, creativity, and performance experience to join the company as APPRENTICES and/or COMPANY DANCERS for the 2024-2025 season
Will include several small performances, and a Full Premiere at New York Live Arts May 5-11, 2025.
$15-18/hr for rehearsals; $1500 for full season; $100+ for small performances
AUDITION will take place Friday, January 17th at various time slots at Amanda Selwyn Dance Studio at 412 Broadway, 2nd Floor. Audition will be invite only.

Looking for dancers of all heights for our Trainee Program
Seeking to hire only the following Company Artists:

Candidates must submit their audition materials via the Google Form registration provided via the link above. Please be sure to have your resume, head shot, dance photos, and video reel ready before registering.

Classical ballet training includes: 2-hour technique class daily, 1-hour pointe/men’s/variations class daily, 60/90-minute partnering class, weekly (select levels only), 1-hour corps de ballet class weekly, additional showcase rehearsal (select levels only), conditioning/strength training
Supplemental classes each week include: Character, Chinese Fan Dance, Contemporary, Jazz/Musical Theater, Modern, Salsa, Enrichment Lectures
When possible, Boston Ballet School prefers that students audition at one of our live, in-person audition classes.

Three-year renewable Assistant Professor of Practice in Modern Dance and Choreographic Studies.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications: B.F.A. or M.F.A. degree in dance or equivalent professional teaching experience; a commitment to undergraduate teaching and program development; and a commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-racism.
Preferred qualifications: An M.F.A. degree in dance; significant record of experience teaching at the university level; significant professional experience in the field of dance.
