Auditions Weekend of January 24th!

Wright State University has an audition for admittance to the Dance Department on 1/24.

• Audition submissions for the Dance Program will be through wrighttheatredance.getacceptd.com. 
• Dance submissions will include a self-taped video of a brief ballet barre and four set video clips of combinations that need to be learned, taped, and submitted. These videos include a ballet adagio, ballet petite allegro, modern combination, and jazz combination.
• The audition also serves to determine qualifications for scholarships.
• Dance auditions will consist of one of the following: a Friday Master Class of both ballet and modern, or a Saturday audition of a ballet barre followed by learning a short combination from each of the three disciplines: ballet, modern and jazz. 

Next Generation Ballet has an audition for their 2025 Summer Intensive on 1/24.

• Audition fees are $40 for all in person or Zoom auditions. Registration will be 30 minutes followed by a 90-minute ballet class.
• Dancers must be at least 11 years old and ladies must have at least 1 year of pointe experience by the start of the intensive to audition.
• Photo Requirements:
• Headshot of the auditioning dancer
• Photo of the auditioning dancer in first arabesque
• Video auditions will be accepted via ACCEPTD. 
• There is a $50 fee for video auditions. Video auditions may be in the form of a class video or a YAGP classical variation.

Joffrey Ballet Chicago has an audition for their 2025 Advanced Summer Intensive on 1/24.

• Students should audition according to their age on the date of the audition, not the age they will be during the time of the summer program. 
• Ages 11-14 - Check-In: 3:00 PM, Audition: 4:00-5:30 PM 

• Ages 15-22 - Check-In: 4:45 PM, Audition: 5:45-8:15 PM
• No additional audition materials are needed outside of the online audition registration. Students may bring a water bottle into the studio with them for their audition.

Charlotte Ballet is accepting audition submissions for the 2025-2026 season until 1/24.

• Charlotte Ballet’s Artistic Team is currently looking for female and male identifying dancers with strong contemporary and classical technique to fill positions with Charlotte Ballet for the 2025/2026 Season.
• Please read carefully and submit the following:
• Your resume
• A video with no introduction or fancy editing, consisting of the following performed in tight-fitting dance attire:
• Contemporary footage or performance excerpts that may consist of something drawn from repertoire, or an applicant’s own created work.
• At least one classical variation.
• Additional improvisation video is suggested.
• Auditions are by invitation only. Upon viewing submitted videos, Charlotte Ballet’s Artistic Team may invite artists to attend Company Class.

Richmond Ballet has an audition for their 2025-2026 season on 1/25.
