Auditions Weekend of January 31st!

Hubbard Street is seeking dancers for the 2025-2026 season until 1/31.

• All are welcome to submit video for consideration to participate in the in-person audition to be held in Chicago, IL, March 15-16, 2025.
• Please submit the following requirements via email to [email protected]:
• Resume/CV (attachment acceptable)
• Headshot/Bio (attachment acceptable)
• One video link not to exceed 4-minutes including the following sections:
• Ballet technique (center work)
• Solo improvisation
• Performance
• NOTE: Your video must be submitted via link, (i.e. Vimeo, YouTube, Google Drive). If videos are sent as attachments, the submission will not be accepted.
• Video Submission Deadline: January 31, 2025
• If accepted to the next stage of the audition, you will receive an email from Hubbard Street Dance Chicago no later than February 10, 2025.

Ohio State University has an audition for the BFA Program on 2/1.

• Acceptance into the BFA in Dance program requires an application to The Ohio State University Undergraduate Admissions (Columbus campus) AND the Department of Dance Audition.
• January 10, 2025: last day to submit dance audition application in order to attend the in-person audition both days, January 31-February 1, 2025 
• January 15, 2025: last day to submit university admission application
• January 31-February 1, 2025: Attend both days of the in-person winter audition.

Texas Ballet Theatre has an audition for their 2025 summer intensive and 2025-2026 company and studio company dancers on 2/1.

• Company Audition:
• Dancers may attend one of our in-person Company auditions or submit a video audition to be considered for Company, Apprentice, Trainee, and Studio Training Company positions.
• Click on your preferred audition via the link above to register and complete your application. When completing the application, you will need to provide a resume, headshot, and photo in first arabesque. Only applications submitted through the online form will be reviewed. No email submissions or phone calls, please.
• Summer Intensives:
• 5-Week Program - The 2025 Summer Intensive is for dancers ages 12-22 and will take place in Fort Worth, TX.
• 3-Week Program - The 2025 3-week program is for dancers ages 12-14. This shorter intensive program is for the younger student who wishes to train extensively with our incredible teaching staff while being away from home for less time. This program will take place in Fort Worth, TX.
• Classical Variations Intensive - This week of intensive study offers dancers daily technique classes, classical variation setting, artistic coaching and character development by our master faculty. Dancers study multiple variations throughout the week.  Ideal for the dancer wishing to prepare to successfully compete at international ballet competitions or simply to grow both technically and artistically.

Ballet Arizona has an audition for their Studio Company on 2/2.

• Looking for Studio Company male and female positions.
• Ballet Arizona’s Studio Company performs alongside the professional company and presents its own works independently. Acting as a bridge between school and professional life, Studio Company provides an opportunity for students of the highest rank to pursue a career in dance. 
• Open Auditions:
• On the day of the open audition, Ballet Arizona requires a resume, headshot, and two (2) full body photos.
• Please fill out a registration form in advance and bring it with you to your audition. No pre-registration is required.
• CV: Include all performing experience with a professional ballet company, training, height, awards received, visa status, etc.
• Photos: Include your headshot and 2-3 dance photos that reveal body proportions and line.

Florida State University has an audition for their 2025 Summer Intensive Dance Workshop on 2/2.

• An on-site audition class is held in combination with the Workshop For Young Dancers on February 2, 2025 from 10:00 am – 11:30 am in Montgomery Hall. 
• Participation in the Young Dancers Workshop is not necessary. Students must be 14 by the start of Summer Dance Intensive. You may add the Audition to your cart for the Young Dancers Workshop or register separately. 
• *Onsite and online auditions use the same registration form.*
• Online and onsite audition participations will receive videos of 3 dance combinations (Ballet, jazz, and contemporary). 
• Onsite audition participants will have the opportunity to learn the combinations during the audition class. However, it is suggested that you learn the combinations ahead of time.
