Auditions Weekend of March 7th!

 

The Tallahassee Ballet has an audition for Company Dancers for the 2025-2026 Season on 3/7.

Deos Contemporary Ballet is accepting applications for one female dancer for the 2025-2026 season until 3/7.

Looking for a female identifying dancer who is 5'6 or taller with a strong classical technique and skilled pointe work.

Audition Requirements:

          -Headshot and dance shot

          -Letter of recommendation

          -Performance reel and/or class work showing:

                    -Modern work, pointe (classical and contemporary), partnering

                    -Should not exceed 5 minutes

          -Send materials to [email protected] with “name // audition materials” in the subject line

Please note: dancers should NOT include their age or weight on resume. All applications and resumes go through a screening process before the Artistic Director sees them. Anyone who includes this info will be asked to re-apply without this information.

 

Boys Ballet Summer Intensive (BBSI) has an audition for their 2025 Summer Intensive on 3/8.

Dancers are required to submit the following photos: a tendu à la seconde and an arabesque en l’air (both photos must be taken in the center with no barre) or choose to audition in person at one of two audition locations. 

Photos and/or videos MUST be taken no more than 3 months prior to application.

If a dancer elects to submit photos for their audition, they are welcome to also attend one of the two in-person audition classes free of charge; please send us an email to confirm your attendance.

BBSI is a pre-professional ballet program designed for male dancers ages 9 to 21.  

Requirements for BBSI include the following:

          -North Carolina location: male dancers must be age 11 by first day of program

          -California location: male dancers must be age 9 by first day of program

          -Male dancers must have at least two years of ballet training.

Cary Ballet Conservatory has an audition for their 2025 Summer Intensive on 3/8.

Intensive students will attend daily extended classes in ballet technique, pointe, and variations. 

They will also receive training in other dance forms, including jazz, modern, character, and contemporary, as well as specialized classes in Pilates, Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT), and therapeutic conditioning, aimed at enhancing their strength, flexibility, extension, and turnout.

Audition check in begins at 12:15 pm.

Please arrive in full ballet attire.

Chattanooga Ballet has an audition for Company Dancers for the 2025-2026 Season on 3/9.

Seeking to hire female and male artists for a 40-week contract.

Artists auditioning are required to have strong ballet technique and be comfortable with pointe, contemporary and modern movement, and may be asked to demonstrate an understanding of pas de deux work. 

A headshot and résumé are required the day of the audition. 

No pre-registration is necessary, but if an artist is interested in being pre-screened for the audition, they can provide a video that includes classical and contemporary choreography. 

          -Pre-screened artists will be notified ahead of the audition if it is necessary for them to attend.
