Dutch National Ballet Academy has an audition for their Preliminary Course on 11/30.

- Children in group 6 or 7 of primary school can audition for the preliminary course.
- The first class of the preliminary course of the National Ballet Academy runs parallel to group 7 of Dutch primary school.
- The audition is composed of a first audition round, a second selection, an audition course and the final audition.
- Parents can register their child for an audition through the online registration form via the link above.
National Ballet of Canada is accepting video applications for the 2025/2026 Company Dancer auditions until 12/1.

- Auditions for the 2024/25 company contracts are by invitation only.
- Applicants must be dancers with strong, classical ballet technique and have performing experience with a professional company. Auditions are by invitation only.
- Applications to audition for the 2025/26 Season will be accepted between September 1 – December 1, 2024.

Arts Umbrella School of Dance has an audition for their 2025 International Summer Dance Intensive and Professional Training Program on 12/1.

- The International Summer Dance Intensive is for grades 8-12.
- The intensive full-day, three-week program includes ballet, repertoire, pointe, pas de deux for advanced students, Gaga, modern, Forsythe Improvisation Technologies, contemporary, movement exploration, and coaching and conditioning.
- The Professional Training Program is for grades 9-12 only.
- The Training Program demands and fosters high levels of physical strength, technique, and discipline. Higher levels are designed for advanced dancers seriously considering a professional dance career. In addition to regular classes, advanced students work with renowned guest artists and perform world-class choreography through participation in Arts Umbrella Dance Company.

Indiana University is accepting video applications to audition for the Jacobs School of Music’s Dance Department on 12/1.

- Prescreening Requirements
- Video recording should be no more than 10 minutes in length and include:
- At the Barre: Développés on one side and Grand Battements on the other. No additional barre exercises are needed.
- In the Centre: Adagio both sides (showing first arabesque), Pirouettes (both sides), Small Jumps, Petit Allegro and Grand Allegro.
- Dress code, choice of:
- Pointe shoes, leotard, and pink or flesh toned tights – no skirts please
- Flat shoes, fitted T-shirt and tights
