Auditions Weekend of November 1st!

Texas A and M (TAMU) has an audition for admittance to the Dance Department on 11/1.

• All prospective students must be admitted through an application and audition process administered by the Texas A&M Dance faculty. 
• Auditioners are evaluated on their technical abilities in ballet, modern and jazz. A committee reviews applicants and accepts them on a competitive basis. 
• Notification of audition results will be emailed within approximately two weeks after the audition (digital auditions may take longer).
• Degrees offered:
• BS Dance Science
• Dance Performance Minor
• Choreography Minor

James Madison University (JMU) has an audition for admittance to the Dance Department on 11/2.

• Completion of a supplementary application and an interview as a part of our audition day is required for admission to the Dance major in the School of Theatre and Dance. 
• To do so, students must apply to both JMU and the School of Theatre and Dance separately and should register for an audition day.

The Kennedy Center has an audition for their Ballet Class Series on 11/3.

• The Ballet Class Series gives students in the Greater Washington, DC area the opportunity to participate in master classes presented by teachers from nationally and internationally recognized ballet companies performing this season at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. 
• Additionally, students have the option of attending working rehearsals and contemporary dance classes with major companies.
• Audition will consist of a 75-90 minute class held in a rehearsal room. Students will sign-up for a specific time slot in the application. 

Alberta Ballet has an audition to be considered for Alberta Ballet School's 2025 Summer Intensive and/or for the 2025-26 Professional Division on 11/3.

• Summer Intensive is a three-week program of full-day intensive training taught by Alberta Ballet School faculty. The 3-week program includes Ballet, Pointe Work, Pas de Deux (for select levels), Repertoire, Variations, Contemporary, Character Dance and Body Conditioning.
• Following a successful Summer Intensive audition, prospective students will receive information on the next steps to audition for the full-year 2025/26 Professional Division Program.

Royal Ballet has an audition for Full-Time Training and Associates Program on 11/5.

• For those eligible and wishing to apply for both full-time training and Associate training, you will be considered for both programmes at the same audition.
• These programmes are for students who will be between the ages of 11 and 18 as of 31 August 2025.
