Auditions Weekend of October 31st

Milwaukee Ballet is seeking choreographers for Genesis 2026 until 10/31.

- Artistic Director Michael Pink will select three choreographers to create a 20-minute work using eight Company dancers for a minimum of 75 hours of rehearsal time.

- Transportation to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, along with hotel lodging and daily per diem, will be provided.

- The winner will receive a cash prize of $5,000 plus a commission to create a new piece for Milwaukee Ballet at a mutually agreeable time. 

- The other two choreographers will receive $3,000 each.

- The winner of the “Audience Choice Award” will win an additional $500.

- Choreographers must submit a link to a choreographic reel that contains two excerpts of previous work no more than two years old. 

          - Video submission must not exceed 10 minutes total. 

          - YouTube orVimeo is preferred.

- A written proposal and biography in English, and a headshot must accompany the entry.

CLI Conservatory is accepting submissions for the Pre-Professional Conservatory Program until 11/1.

- Looking for dancers who are:

          - Advanced level

          - Aspiring to a professional dance career

          - At least 17 years old

- Apply by November 1st to be eligible for Early Admission Scholarships

Carmel Dance Festival is accepting video submissions for their Dance and Choreography Fellowship until 11/2.

          - 16+ (fellows aged 16 & 17 will be chaperoned and must have a legal guardian sign a waiver)

          - Superb technique in any dance genre

          - Partnering experience and/or desire and commitment to enhance partnering skills

          - Improvisation experience and/or desire and commitment to enhance improvisation skills

          - Performance experience and/or desire and commitment to enhance performance skills

          - Desire to adapt, create, connect, and contribute

- Fellowship takes place December 27, 2025 - January 4, 2026

Yorkshire Ballet School has an audition for their 2026 Summer Residential Program on 11/2.

- Academic Years 9 to 10

          - 11:45-13:00 GMT - Classical Ballet class

- No pointe work for any students

English National Ballet School (ENBS) has an audition for their Senior School on 11/2.

- Audition is for entry into English National Ballet School in September 2026

- Open to all dancers aged 16 to 19 as of September 1, 2026

- At in-person preliminary auditions, you will take part in the following:

          - 90 minute Ballet class (x30 dancers maximum in each audition class)

          - 30 minutes of Pointe work (female dancers)

          - 30 minutes of Technique (male dancers)

          - 1 minute solo of your choice

- Applicants will be notified of their preliminary audition results within 14 days

          - Feedback is not provided

- Application deadline is October 10, 2025
