Bio

Sofia Aidalee Serrano is a Graduate with Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, performing Principal roles in PBT school productions and first cast corps roles in PBT company productions. She graduated in 2024 as a full merit scholar Apprentice at Next Generation Ballet performing Principal roles in professionally produced full-length ballets. Her roles included Giselle, Snow Queen (Nutcracker), and Sheperdess (Nutcracker-Marzipan soloist), among other solo and corps roles. Sofia performed the Sugar Plum Pas de Deux and Variation as a Guest Artist for PDM Productions in Richmond, VA in 2023. She has trained at ballet schools in Germany, Panama, Cuba, and Washington D.C. and intensives at HARID, Orlando Ballet, BalletMet, Boston Ballet, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre on a merit scholarship, and Kansas City Ballet on a full merit scholarship. Sofia will be a dedicated, valuable member of a company with an extensive choreography repertoire and the adaptiveness to confidently fill roles with short notice.
