Led by Academy directors Abby Jayne DeAngelo and Guillaume Basso—recently honored with platinum recognition for his contemporary choreography at the 2024 Universal Ballet Competition and the 2024 World Ballet Art Competition Best Teachers Award—this year we are excited to add contemporary variations to our classical repertoire focus, providing a unique blend of training to enhance versatility as a performer. This workshop offers a comprehensive curriculum, including: Yoga for flexibility, alignment, and cross-training Conditioning for Dancers to strengthen and protect the body Ballet Technique to refine classical foundations Pointe to enhance strength, balance, and precision Classical Variations from the repertoire, focusing on artistry and technique Contemporary Variations to expand stylistic range and adaptability
