Description
Summer Intensive is designed to strengthen and develop your abilities as a dancer through full day Intensive Training taught by Alberta Ballet School's Professional Faculty. Taught over several weeks at the Calgary studios, students have the unique ability to focus solely on ballet in the backdrop of the beautiful Canadian Rockies. Ballet students in Grade 5-8 can audition as a Junior Student, Ballet students in Grade 9-12 and up can audition as Senior Students.

Alberta Ballet School attracts students from around the world to this 3-week program, that advances ballet technique and artistry through: An internationally-recognized ballet curriculum Mentorship and instruction from experienced faculty, guest teachers and Alberta Ballet's professional dancers An active commitment to healthy balanced training in partnership with the University of Calgary's Dance Science faculty (member of the International Association of Dance Medicine) We also offer a Summer Residence program for visiting students. Residence life during Summer Intensive is designed to create a fun, memorable experience, forging strong social connections in a peer group that shares a passion for dance and ballet.
