The pre-professional training program includes daily, rigorous work in classical dance (barre à terre and pointes included) and weekly classes in jazz and contemporary which are the fundamental disciplines of today's dancer. The students' pace of work is gradually increased as they progress and is adapted to the demands of their schooling. Timetables are established according to the age of the student and the orientation they have chosen in agreement with their teachers. Students in this sector are educated in cycles and colleges in the canton of Geneva in Sport-Art-Studies classes with flexible timetables. dance classes mainly take place in the afternoons between 1:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Some private schools also offer timetable adjustments for students in the pre-vocational sector.
