Description

The Summer Intensive offers serious ballet students the highest caliber of intensive classical training, augmented by a rich diversity of dance forms necessary to meet the eclectic demands of dance companies today. The School of Ballet Arizona’s summer program offers six full weeks of intensive classes. Our program offers students ages 11+ the opportunity to make advances in technique and in the way they dance as they are taught by internationally renowned faculty from The Stuttgart Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Ballet de Camagüey of Cuba, The Joffrey Ballet, Ballet Nacional de Cuba, The National Ballet of Canada and The Pennsylvania Ballet! Our summer intensive gives students a feel for Phoenix living and what life is like within The School of Ballet Arizona family. Students will have classes five days a week. Courses offered are ballet technique, pointe, men’s technique, variations, repertory and Ballet Arizona’s repertory, men’s conditioning, dancer wellness, Pilates, flamenco, strength and conditioning, modern, Horton, jazz, and additional enriching subjects.
