Audition for Ballet Chicago's Summer Programs! You can join us IN PERSON on May 17th at the Ballet Chicago studios. Co-founded in 1987 by acclaimed New York City Ballet Principal Dancer Daniel Duell and former ballerina Patricia Blair, Ballet Chicago is an internationally recognized training program dedicated to elite ballet instruction. The school's curriculum is rooted in the technique established by George Balanchine, emphasizing precision, artistry, and musicality. Ballet Chicago fosters personal growth in a culture of excellence, offering students focused guidance, constructive correction, and consistent encouragement to help them reach their full potential. Students must be 11 years or older and demonstrate technical proficiency appropriate for their age to audition. Participants in the Summer Programs are carefully evaluated and may be invited to join Ballet Chicago’s annual program.
