Description

Ballet Hartford’s trainee program provides dancers (ages 18 and up) with further training and performance opportunities with the professional company. The trainee program is also affiliated with Woodbury Ballet, under the direction of Christine Harris, where dancers receive personal attention and the opportunity to perform in additional ballets. Trainee Program technique classes are taught by the Ballet Hartford’s Artistic Director and Guest Instructors. Trainees will also participate in Ballet Hartford rehearsals and performances and may be asked to tour with the company. Touring and performances with Ballet Hartford are by invitation only and at the discretion of the Artistic Director. At the end of each season, Trainees are evaluated by Ballet Hartford’s Artistic Director and presented with one of the following opportunities: Invitation to continue with the Trainee Program Promotion to Apprentice with Ballet Hartford Release from the program and encouragement to pursue other professional dance opportunities
