Auditions have passed-check back Opera Ballet Vlaanderen is a dynamic and forward-thinking dance company, made up of 35 internationally diverse dancers who push the boundaries of contemporary performance. Our repertoire spans a vibrant spectrum of both iconic works and groundbreaking new creations from visionary artists such as Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker, Giselle Vienne, Hofesh Shechter, Jan Martens, David Raymond and Tiffany Thiergarden, Marcos Morau, Pina Bausch, Wim Vandekeybus and more. Operating as a collective ensemble with no ranks, the company fosters collaboration, creativity, and a thoughtful balance between tradition and innovation. We are seeking dancers with a minimum of two years of professional experience, a strong technical foundation in both ballet and contemporary techniques, and a high proficiency in improvisational skills. Applicants should demonstrate strong communication skills, a collaborative spirit, and an eagerness to engage deeply with a wide range of creative processes, from highly physical to theatrical. Company members are expected to work with autonomy, practice self-care, and approach collaboration and creation with maturity and professionalism.
