Audition Description
Applicants should be 18 years of age, and/or have a Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent. If under 18, applicant must have parent or legal guardian’s consent and signature on the enrolment agreement.
● Prospective students need to provide an audition package with:
○ A resume (dance training, experience, and other work)
○ A video of both a ballet variation and a contemporary solo (maximum 5
minutes with pointe work for girls).
○ A letter of recommendation from a dance instructor who has taught the
applicant in the past year.
● Upon reviewing the audition package, an interview will be scheduled with the
candidates and the artistic staff.
● Candidates will be invited to participate in a 4-week Summer Intensive Program at
the BV Conservatory.
● Selected candidates will be invited to join the Aspirant Program.
