Ballet Virginia students are offered performance opportunities in our professional productions as well as student productions throughout the year. This page serves as an information hub for forms, schedules, and other performance information for all student-involved performances including “The Nutcracker”, the spring ballet and the Academy Showcase in June. “THE NUTCRACKER” 2025 INFORMATION AUDITION DATE: Saturday, September 27 at the Norfolk studios ONLY 1 MISSED REHEARSAL IS PERMITTED Pre-registration begins September 17 and is strongly encouraged Must be at least age 6 by audition date or Ballet Virginia Level Ballet B Audition Fee: $30 pre-reg or $35 day of Performance Dues (if selected): $100 due by October 18 Times: 1:30—3:00 PM: Ballet Virginia Levels 5 to BVII Ages 12 to 18 (for non-BV dancers) 3:00—4:30 PM: Ballet Virginia Levels 2 to 4 Ages 9 to 11 (for non-BV dancers) 4:30—5:30 PM: Ballet Virginia Levels Ballet B to Level 1 Ages 6 to 8 (for non-BV dancers) Ballet Virginia dancers should attend their Academy Level audition time regardless of age.
