BalletX, Philadelphia’s premier contemporary ballet, whose dancers were named “among America’s best” by The New York Times, commissions choreographers from around the world to create dance that is “fresh, inclusive, and connects to what people want” (Philadelphia Citizen) while “positioning Philadelphia on the cutting edge of contemporary ballet” (The Dance Journal).

The BalletX Dance Fellowship is a competitive, season-long training program for up to four emerging dancers, designed to expand their experience as they transition into the professional world.

With world-class instructors and in-depth classes designed to enhance your technique, artistry, and versatility, BalletX’s Summer Intensive challenges students in an intimate company setting to prepare you for life as professional contemporary ballet dancers.
