Balletto Del Sud

Balletto del Sud is the most important dance production organization in southern Italy. The company, directed since 1995 by the Italian choreographer Fredy Franzutti, has changed the perception of dance in the city of Lecce and in Puglia. The permanent staff is composed of 28 elements - coming from all over the world - able to alternate in the main roles. Balletto del Sud has a varied repertoire of 47 works that range from philological reconstruction projects, to creative revisitations of the classics, to productions created by Franzutti in his own language.
