Description
The Post Graduate program is an extension of Boston Ballet School's Professional Division, designed for accomplished ballet students who have completed their academic grade school education. Students are given the opportunity to continue artistic vocational training by joining a cohort of peers who train, rehearse, and perform alongside members of Boston Ballet's second company (Boston Ballet II), as well as with Boston Ballet's main company on selected basis. Boston Ballet School's Post Graduate program is tuition free, offering a training program 5-6 days per week, with 2.5 hours of daily instruction, additional weekly rehearsals, and coaching with Boston Ballet School and Boston Ballet Artistic staff. Focus for this program is aimed at introducing aspiring ballet artists to the daily life of a professional ballet company, proper development and preparation for a career in professional ballet, and interaction with Boston Ballet dancers, artistic staff, and guest artists as they observe, train, and perform.
