Description

Brenau Summer Dance Intensive is two weeks of rigorous dance training for dancers ages 15-23. The program will focus on Modern, Ballet, Jazz, and Contemporary technique, Ballroom, Variations, Pas de Deux, Yoga, Pilates, Men’s Class, Pointe, West African Dance, Nutrition for Dancers, Acting/Singing, and Repertory. During the three weeks, dancers will rehearse repertory and new works by established and emerging local, national, and regional professional dance artists to be performed in a showcase at the John S. Burd Center for the Performing Arts on Brenau’s Historic Campus in Gainesville, Georgia, in the afternoon of Saturday, June 14, 2025. All classes and auditions will be held at Brenau East Studios: 1001 Chestnut Street, Gainesville, GA 30501, and the Schrader Athletic Center at 800 Washington St. SE Gainesville, GA 30501.
