Stazione Utopia and Nutida Festival, select choreographers-performers Under 25 for the project Calimala Evolution | Disclosure Platform, the contemporary dance incubator dedicated to young dance authors. THE PROJECT Selected applicants will take part in a creative and mentorship program within the dissemination platform Calimala Evolution | Disclosure Platform. Immediately after the selection, participants will receive an original musical track composed specifically for the occasion by the musician DOMBRE. Participants will create and present their own contemporary dance work based on this track. A working day will be held in April at Fonderia, headquarters of CCN/Aterballetto in Reggio Emilia. This meeting will serve as an intermediate moment of exchange before the final presentation of the completed work at Nutida Festival 2026. The presentation will take place in summer during Nutida Festival 2026 in Scandicci (Florence), in the evocative venue of the Pomario del Castello dell’Acciaiolo, alongside companies and artists from the emerging national and international scene. The selected creations will be presented in their complete form and will be fully produced by the festival. Selected applicants will be guaranteed a fee for the performance days at Nutida 2026.
