Description

The Regional Summer Intensive Auditions (RSIA) are a collaborative audition opportunity, bringing together a variety of dance programs at one time for dancers (Ages 11–25) to audition for summer intensive programs as well as trainee positions. The auditions will be held January 16–18, 2026 at COCA – Center of Creative Arts in St. Louis. RSIA attracts an average of 250 students per year. In 2025, we had students from 26 different states represented at the auditions and 26 programs in attendance. COCA will host auditions onsite for students led by accomplished teaching artists and accompanists. Programs attending will receive recorded videos of the auditions, student audition forms, photos, and resumes electronically at the conclusion of the weekend. Student participation and sample classes will be offered in-person only.

COCA will host auditions onsite for students led by accomplished teaching artists and accompanists. All participating programs will receive recorded videos of the auditions, student audition forms, photos, and resumes electronically at the conclusion of the weekend. Programs will adjudicate and contact students in alignment with their own audition practice. All applicants must participate in the ballet, pointe (if applicable), and modern portions of the audition.
