Session Description

The Summer Intensive Performance completes the summer program and serves as our annual showcase of the students’ progress and training. All dancers enrolled in the Summer Intensive will participate in the performance. Choreography is learned during regular classes and Repertoire classes throughout the summer. Dancers learn choreography as follows: • Levels D & E – Repertoire II • Level C – Repertoire I • Preteen/Teen Beginning Ballet – Repertoire • Preballet & Levels A/B – choreography learned during regular class time • Contemporary/Jazz, Jazz/Hip Hop, and Character classes will also perform Repertoire classes meet three times per week, and dancers will learn a different dance during each session. Students taking summer vacations are still encouraged to enroll, as choreography is taught throughout the term.
