VIDEO MATERIALS
Videos must be uploaded to YouTube as an unlisted video and sent to trainees@cleveballet.org along with your resume and photography requirements:
Video should be no more than 20 minutes in length.
The full body must be shown throughout the entirety of the video.
A ballet barre should not be used in any part of the video. Please dance in the center of location. Please include:
Adagio:
Display port de bras, developpe, arabesque, and attitude.
Display musicality.
Pirouettes:
Double or triple en dehors and en dedans.
Across the floor turn sequence.
Petite and Grand allegro combinations:
jetes, assembles, sissones, beats, and connecting steps, etc.
Contemporary Solo:
En pointe is optional for ladies.
Men only:
Tours en l’air
Jump and/or turn manège
Ladies only:
Classical variation en pointe
Women's Dress Code
Ladies: Black leotard, pink skin-toned tights, pointe shoes, no skirt.
Men's Dress Code
Gentlemen: White T-shirt, black tights, black technique shoes.
