Compagnie Illicite

The COMPAGNIE ILLICITE BAYONNE was founded in 2015 by Fábio Lopez, its artistic director and resident choreographer. Supported by the REPETTO house, the company develops an academic work accompanied by old and contemporary musical pieces to share it with as many people as possible. Since 2017, the City of Bayonne has associated it with the Oldeak choreographic platform, which allows an opening to other external choreographers and a plurality of body plastics. The company is supported by the City of Bayonne, the Communauté d'Agglomération Pays Basque, the DRAC Nouvelle-Aquitaine and the Department of Pyrénées-Atlantiques; since January 2022, the Cities of Anglet and Biarritz have joined the project.
