Video Requirements:
VIDEO AUDITION GUIDELINES Prepare a URL link (YouTube, Vimeo, Google Drive, or Dropbox) with your video audition. Links must have “all access” view enabled. Do not send videos by email. Film front-facing, with good lighting, and solo only (no group pieces). Video Options (choose one): Learn and record one of the two Complexions audition combinations. You may find the combinations HERE Submit a 2 minute solo (Ballet or Contemporary Ballet) including: tendu à la seconde, passé, développé, attitude promenade, piqué arabesque, pirouettes (en dehors & en dedans), soutenu, a sauté, port de bras / upper body use, controlled relevé, clear transitions between steps. Submit a competition video (it must include most of the above). Pointe video (optional) If you’d like to be considered for Pointe classes, include a Pointe variation in your video. This can be one of the Complexions combos on Pointe, or your own combination that meets the requirements. RESULTS Will be sent to the email on your registration form (double-check you typed it correctly!). Allow up to 15 days after submission. Check your spam folder before reaching out. SCHOLARSHIP / ACCEPTANCE CERTIFICATES If you received one, email your certificate to [email protected] and receive instructions on how to register. A video is encouraged for placement but not required.Audition Description
Audition submission is required. First come, first serve basis. Registration will close once the program reaches capacity. Email Communication: All updates will be sent via email. Please provide an accurate email address for the student (or guardian if under 18) on your application. Add [email protected] to your contacts to prevent messages from going to spam. Application Response: You will receive your result within 10 days of submitting your video. Applications are reviewed in the order received. If Accepted: You will receive an invoice by email. Once payment is completed in full, you’ll be sent an Information Packet with program details, dress code, procedures, and required forms. Please note that space is limited and fills quickly. Refund Policy: The registration fee is non-refundable. Tuition refunds are not offered. In case of accident or illness, a credit certificate may be issued on a case-by-case basis.
