Convergence Ballet is a Phoenix-based ballet company dedicated to intimate, idea-driven performance. We create work that blends classical rigor with contemporary imagination, prioritizing clarity of movement, emotional immediacy, and thoughtful curation. Intentionally small by design, Convergence focuses on concentrated rehearsal periods that allow freelance dancers to work deeply, collaboratively, and with purpose. Our repertory includes original works, reimagined classical ballets, and select collaborations with Ballet Theatre of Phoenix, including the holiday favorite The Nutcracker. We believe ballet can be both rigorous and welcoming. Our performances are designed to feel close-up and human—inviting audiences into the work rather than overwhelming them with scale. Alongside ticketed productions, we remain committed to access through free community performances and educational outreach. Convergence Ballet is guided by a belief in clarity, care, and artistic seriousness. We value dancers as collaborators and professionals, and we approach our work with intention, preparation, and respect for the demands of the art form. We are a company for artists who are curious, committed, and interested in contributing to a growing body of meaningful work.
