DURATION: 3 year course ( 2 year training course + 1 year internship with the DiA Junior Company). Dance in Art (DiA) is a private center for dance-, art education and performance training. DiA educates and prepares students to enter the professional dance world. The professional dance training course is designed to achieve the maximum potential of each and every student who is accepted into the school. It is a three year education program with during the third year a full time training program with the DiA Junior Company and the possibility of extending the year with a 3 months tour through Asia. The daily training is on a high international level and designed for talented dancers with extraordinary abilities in search of guidance, knowledge, experience and inspiration. The program is customized to each dancer’s physical and emotional needs. DiA works on perfecting the art and technique of young students as a formula for future professional practice, providing an ideal platform for future dancers and talented young choreographers to gain knowledge for the future. It is of the utmost importance to give the students a valuable education, an education they can benefit from for the rest of their life’s. Focusing solely on them, to give all the students the technical and artistic knowledge they will need to succeed in whatever direction they would like to take their professional dance career and to ensure all the hard work is for a higher and magnificent purpose. Therefor we work with a maximum of 12 students per year group. The program provides ongoing progress assessment, individual coaching, outstanding support and personal encouragement for each and every dancer. We accept students with the age of 17 – 23 years. Students who are 24 years of age or older can apply for the Mentorship Program.
