Delattre Dance Company

Since the Delattre Dance Company (DDC) was founded in 2012, the ensemble has now been an integral part of the evening events at the Mainz Kammerspiele and has also been able to reach a large audience at guest performances in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Up to two new ballet/dance events are developed each year. In addition to the popular works of choreographer Stephen Delattre, the DDC's diverse, aesthetic and emotional evening programs include creations by international guests such as Marco Goecke, Bridget Breiner, Regina van Berkel, Maurice Causey, Kenneth Tindall, Jörg Mannes and many more. expanded. This varied repertoire of contemporary choreographers has helped to establish the Delattre Dance Company as a truly special and exceptional contemporary company. The always line-based aesthetics and virtuoso technique of highly skilled classically trained ballet dancers, serves as a springboard for a new product, a new expression in dance with modern aesthetics, physicality and choreographic dramaturgy that advances the definition of contemporary dance today.
