Description

Draper Center brings together an internationally renowned guest faculty to provide an inspirational and educational experience filled with excitement and opportunity. Draper Center’s August senior intensive has been developed over the past 30 years and incorporates a high level of classical ballet and technique training along with classes in Musical Theater, Contemporary Dance, Character, Modern, and several forms of cross training for dance. Our guest faculty come to us from all over the world and bring with them a unique knowledge and experience of the professional dance world. Alongside the Draper Center faculty, they provide our students with the highest level of professional dance education. Our small class sizes and individual attention provides the perfect atmosphere for personal growth. In our summer intensive, we focus on developing the whole dancer: technique, artistry, diversity of movement quality, creativity, physical strength, and a focused and determined mindset. The Draper Center summer intensive is a great place to make lifelong memories, great friends, and outstanding connections with the greater dance community. Our August Senior Intensive concludes with a celebratory performance showcasing all the hard work and progress that’s been achieved throughout the program. This performance has become a highlight for our summer intensive students.
