Video Requirements:
2 Solo Videos
Each solo should be at least one minute in length and no more than 4 minutes.
The 2 dance solos must be 2 different styles and may be in the style of contemporary/modern, ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, hip hop, African dance or other dance styles with origins in the African diaspora.
The solos can be self-choreographed.
The filming of the solos may take place in a dance studio or in an alternative area that may serve as your movement space (dance film location, competition, intensive, etc.). We encourage you to record in a spacious area with sufficient lighting and remember that safety is a priority.
Please do not send any group dance videos.
If using a phone to record video, please hold the phone horizontally.
Include your name and the name of the choreographer in the title of the video file or the video screen or in the video description.
Videos may be recorded over the last year as long as they are an accurate representation of the dancer and follow the guidelines above.
Dance Resume (One-Page)
Include name, contact information (phone & email), dance training, performance experience, choreography experience (if applicable), and anything else you feel is important to note.
