Description

ESB launches a new programme as of September. Our Contemporary Trainee Program (CTP) is the natural result of the collaboration these last few years with Maurice Causey, a unique independent artist who has a wide range of knowledge, spanning from classical ballet to its most contemporary offshoots. His collaboration with Forsythe enabled him to explore improvisation technologies and visionary theatrical staging. As the Artistic Manager of ESB’s CTP, Causey will be in charge of implementing workshops and welcoming guest ballet masters and choreographers to ESB’s new program. He will also continue his work as a choreographer and will present his creations in the Netherlands and abroad. ESB Contemporary Trainee Program is a unique course for 16 to 19 years old dancers in need of a stepping-stone to launch their future professional careers. Trainees work from Mondays to Fridays on a full schedule from 10:00am to 5:30pm and on Saturdays from 10:00am to 11:45am or until 3:00pm if needed.
