Fem Dance Company is excited to be presenting our fall show "Shape of Sound," in collaboration with NEXT Ensemble! We will be creating four new works choreographed by Jaclyn Brown, Alicia Ross, Natalie Tolman, and Taylor Tumminia. NEXT Ensemble composers are creating all new scores for this show, and the musicians will be playing live on stage. There will be one performance on September 25th at the Marshall White Center in Ogden, and two performances on October 23rd and 24th at the Regent Street Black Box in Salt Lake City. Dancers must be available for all performance dates, as well as tech rehearsals (dates TBD). Rehearsals will be held weekly for each piece at Artistic Endeavors Dance in Millcreek, beginning in July. Dancers' pay will be based upon ticket sales. The audition for this project will take place on Sunday, May 17th at 10am at the Regent Street Black Box studio. There is a $15 audition fee, payable by Venmo or cash at the door. Dancers must be 18 or older to participate. Dancers of all gender identities and racial/ethnic backgrounds are encouraged to audition. At this time, we are not able to provide travel or re-location accommodations.
