Description

An international gathering of dance and artistic exchange set within the historic beauty of Schwäbisch Hall, Germany The festival will feature two mixed bill performances of new works chosen via application. Alongside this will be performances by the FLOCK company, film screenings, workshops, and public conversations with artists, creating an intimate environment for both audiences and makers. We invite established and emerging choreographers to submit finished works (5–20 minutes) in solo, duet, trio, or small group formats (up to four dancers). Selected artists will present their work as part of the festival program and engage with the local community through workshops and post-performance conversations. Pieces should be created for stage, we are not accepting films at this time. Choreographers receive a stipend of $1,000 – $4,000, depending on the scale of the work, to support artist pay and travel. Housing will be provided.
